Hi! I'm Jency 'The Software Tester' and I investigate the line between Software and Testing. My personal and research-driven articles explore work, life, technology. "A Software Tester's Blog" is a space all about a Tester's Tech Work-Life sharing. Sharing my passion for Testing – and inspiring others in the Testing field is what makes me tick.
My love affair with 'Software Testing' began years ago. I always knew that IT would be a large part of my life, but didn’t know how big of a role it would play until I made the decision to stick into the 'Software Testing' field.
After graduating my Engineering in IT, started my career as a 'Test Engineer' gradually moved to a domain-based role of 'ETL Test Engineer' for almost 6 years. Later as IT keeps moving, the same goes to my Testing career, my current auspicious firm 'Billennium IT Services (M) Sdn. Bhd.' gave an opportunity to play around in a different field 'API Testing' not the usual way as I explored before. Kickstarted with this new phase in 2019 and now here I'm an 'API Tester' serving for a faster-growing firm 'Billennium'.
2020 started with the devastating global pandemic, with the COVID-19 crisis looming large. The good news is that we’ve almost made it to the end of 2020! Between the global pandemic, lockdowns, and economic downturn by HIS GRACE we all managed to keep it going. And this also opened the doors for my longtime wish of writing a BLOG in the area that I would explore, and here it is 'A Software Tester's Blog'.
So folks here you can enjoy things about 'API Testing' from a Beginners's view. Along with some useful articles about Certifications that may come your way. Things that we as Testers need to brush up at times 😉
